Millies's Marvellous Hat Week 26th April

Inspired by the book Millie's Marvellous Hat by Author and Illustrator Satoshi Kitamura, we painted, glued, glittered and adorned with flowers our own hats.  For the group project we made a beautiful Peacock like the one which decorates Millie's imaginary hat.

This week we'll be making easter bonnets and decorating eggs

 

   

Oh, and of course there will be chocolate!

 

Spring Time!

Yes, we know that it's been snowing this week, but it is spring, honest!

 

This week we'll be planting some seeds and making some lambs!

Whats On Over Easter

Just thought we'd let you know that we will be running two sessions on Friday 5th April in the Easter Holidays for older children at Sale Waterside Arts Centre.

The first session will run from 10am until 11.10 prompt 

The second session will run from 11.15 until 12.30pm

We will be aiming the activities at ages 5 to 9 years

Each session will be limited to 11 children so let us know if you want to reserve a place in advance.

Our regular classes will run over the Easter period at 10am and 11.15am  as follows:-

Friday 15th March- Exploring Spring - make a sheep, plant a bulb and explore the festival of Holi at 10am and 11.15am

Friday 22nd March - Easter Egg Extravaganza at 10am and 11.15am

Friday 29th March- No Session Good Friday

Friday 5th April- Session aimed at Older Kids with little ones welcome.

Friday 12th April- NO Session

Friday 19th April - Looking at the art work of Jackson Pollock, Kadinsky and Warhol

Yes - it's Mother's Day on Sunday, i'm sure that you already have a card hidden somewhere at home, so we'll be making some alternative mother related art!
